Beyoncé changes a show date for the Renaissance Tour at SoFi Stadium

Upon announcing the first run of dates for her Renaissance World Tour, R&B superstar Beyoncé reveled she’d be headlining SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on Sept. 2. Two days later, a second show was added on Sept. 3.

On the eve of Beyoncé setting a record for the most Grammy wins at the annual awards ceremony, which was held in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 5, her team announced that there’d be a date change for the Inglewood shows. The Sept. 3 show will now take place on Sept. 1 and all of the fans that registered through the Ticketmaster Verified Fan program, will be automatically transferred to the new show date.

According to Ticketmaster, additional dates were added due to high fan demand, which exceeded the number of available tickets by more than 800% based on the company’s Verified Fan registration. Registration for tickets is currently closed and the on sale began at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6. In light of Ticketmaster’s issues with the Taylor Swift Eras Tour on-sale last year, the Verified Fan sale will close at different times based on city to avoid a flood of guests trying to purchase tickets in all markets at once.
