Fusion Specialty has announced the expansion of its global partnership with specialty insurer HDI Global Specialty SE to the Americas, creating additional capacity for its representation and warranty (R&W), tax and contingent liability insurance businesses.

This expansion strengthens Fusion’s insurance capabilities and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) presence in the region and is consistent with the company’s strategic vision for global growth.

David Rogers, Chairman of Fusion, highlighted the partnership with HDI Global Specialty SE and its development.

“Fusion’s partnership with HDI has grown over the years. They have been our partner since we started in Australia, expanded to the UK and EU last year and now the US. “The addition of HDI to our Fusion Americas insurer board completes the global partnership between HDI and all Fusion hubs,” said Rogers.

Jim Clark (pictured above left), CEO of HDI Global US, also emphasized the importance of the partnership for the company’s growth strategy in the region.

“With Fusion’s expertise and robust SME portfolio, we aim to strengthen our service offering and diversify our risk exposure, thereby strengthening our position in transactional risk insurance in the SME and LMM sectors. “This collaboration underscores our commitment to innovation and growth and allows us to serve as a partner of choice for our customers as they transform in an evolving market,” said Clark.

Fusion Americas CEO Michael Mora (pictured above right) also commented on the company’s M&A expansion as it adds new products with the A+-rated carrier.

“Expanding our partnership with HDI to Fusion Americas is a testament to our business performance and strong results both in the U.S. and globally,” said Mora.

Mora, who was recently promoted from managing partner to CEO of Fusion Americas, has worked with HDI in multiple jurisdictions since Fusion’s founding in 2018.

“Fusion’s global capabilities and partnerships differentiate our offerings from all other transactional liability MGAs in the market. “We have a truly global team that provides 24/7 service and expertise in every jurisdiction in which we operate and distribute Fusion’s transaction insurance products,” Mora said.
