Sporting a sparkling, fringed bodysuit, Harry Styles impressed viewers with a performance of the hit track “As It Was” during the televised showing of the 65th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony.
Introduced by longtime friend and producer Kid Harpoon — who refers to the British star as “Gary” — Styles began the performance with a rotating red-lit stage. Ironically enough, the singer also emulated his colorful “As It Was” music video with an entourage of dancers and band that set the mood for a light-hearted set. In moments, Styles broke out into a frenzied dance while even cheered on by fan Shania Twain. The dancers ended it with Style in a synchronized dance that could have gone on for just another song.
Styles already took home a trophy for best pop vocal album for “Harry’s House” and is nominated six times this year with nods for record of the year and song of the year for “As It Was.”
