The Hilb Group has increased its presence in the Southeast with the acquisition of E/G of Florida. The acquisition became effective on January 1st.
Based in Fort Lauderdale with additional offices in Delray and Port Saint Lucie, E/G of Florida offers personal and commercial insurance.
As part of the transaction, agency head Patrick Mulligan and his team will join the Hilb Group’s southeastern regional operations.

As we continue to evolve, we will continue to focus on providing tailored solutions for our clients while expanding our access to larger products and offerings that benefit those we serve.”

E/G of Florida is the latest in a series of acquisitions for the Hilb Group. Last month, the broker acquired The Nowell Agency, a Mississippi-based firm. In October, the company acquired North Carolina-based Allegacy Benefit Solutions.
