Hub continues M&A spree | Insurance Business America

Global brokerage firm Hub International Limited announced that it has acquired the assets of Montana-based Glacier Insurance of Libby. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Glacier Insurance of Libby is an independent, full-service agency providing commercial and personal insurance to clients in Montana, Idaho and the states of Washington. Agency owners Kevin Peck and Kim Peck and their team will join Hub Mountain.

The acquisition expands Hub’s personal and commercial insurance capabilities.

“We are excited to have Kevin, Kim and their team join Hub,” said Brent Irving, President and CEO of Hub Mountain. “They will provide world-class knowledge and personalized service as we continue to grow and provide significant value to our customers in the region.”

“Joining Hub gives us access to additional resources and capabilities so we can continue to provide the highest quality of service to our customers,” said Kevin Peck. “We believe that the greater variety of experiences will present a very attractive combination for our customers.”

The acquisition is the latest in Hub’s M&A spree. Earlier this month, the company bought Louisiana-based Dwight W. Andrus Insurance. In January, the company acquired Grace & Porta Benefits, headquartered in Michigan.
