Since Juwan Howard became Michigan head coach in 2019, each program has held serve at home in six meetings. … They’ll play again in six weeks February 18 in Ann Arbor at 9 p.m. … Michigan State has won five straight games; Michigan has won two in a row, following a players-only meeting after an upset home loss to Central Michigan on Dec. 29.

For the Wolverines, mammoth junior center Hunter Dickinson leads them in scoring (18.7 points), rebounding (8.3) and blocks (1.7). Freshman wing Jett Howard is second in the Big Ten with 2.4 3-point makes per game (37%).
For the Spartans, senior guard Tyson Walker is the leading scorer (13.9 points), senior forward Joey Hauser is the top rebounder (7.6) and junior guard A.J. Hoggard is the best playmaker (6.4 assists).
Michigan State visits Wisconsin on Tuesday; Michigan plays at Iowa on Thursday.
