Serena Williams’s daughter, Olympia, is ready for the Met Gala at age five. In a video shared on Williams’s Instagram, Olympia is wearing the iconic fuzzy pink and black ombré cape her mom wore to the 2021 Met Gala.
Despite being a bit small for it at such a young age, Olympia is wearing the cape, not the other way around. The video, which you can see here, shows Olympia in a closet with the garment on and her hair in a high updo. The video is set to the song “Made You Look” by Meghan Trainor, and Williams wrote in the post’s caption, “Like mama like daughter. @olympiaohanian Met Gala next?”
At the Met Gala in September 2021, the tennis legend wore the statement piece with a sparkly silver Gucci bodysuit embellished with stars. Here’s Williams wearing the look in 2021:
