Distinguished Programs has entered into a new partnership agreement with HUB International to serve as the preferred provider for the New England Museum Association (NEMA).
The aim of this collaboration is to develop specialist insurance solutions tailored to the unique needs of museums across the North East.
Together, Distinguished and HUB International will work closely with NEMA to provide museums with specialized insurance coverage and an exclusive discount that meets the specific needs of museum operations.
The aim of this partnership is to offer museums not only comprehensive insurance cover, but also competent advice on the risk management of their collections.
Andrew Bassier, Senior Account Executive – Fine Art and Special Risk at HUB International, was excited about the partnership.
“We welcome the opportunity to work with NEMA members to enhance their insurance programs and ensure they provide tailored protection for their individual needs,” he said. “We look forward to not only providing tailored insurance solutions, but also helping NEMA members better understand their insurance programs.”
Kayla Coleman, executive director of NEMA, emphasized the importance of such partnerships in supporting the association’s member museums.

Alison Sweeney, vice president and art specialist for Distinguished’s art and collectors program, noted the importance of this collaboration for museum conservation.
