European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde gives a press conference following the bank’s latest monetary policy decision.
This came after the bank’s policymakers cut their annual growth forecast as they confirmed a widely expected interest rate hold.
The ECB experts now expect economic growth of 0.6% in 2024, after previously forecasting 0.8%. Its inflation forecast for the year was cut to 2.3% from 2.7%.
