Acrisure has announced the launch of its Midwest Region, which includes companies from Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

The new region of over 50 offices will operate under the unified Acrisure brand, with Tina Semotan appointed as managing partner.

With her background as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force and as former president of HNI Risk Services, an Acrisure partner, Semotan will lead the region through its next phase of growth and development.

“From serving in the U.S. military to helping customers with their financial, insurance and technology needs, I am always committed to serving our communities and the businesses in those communities,” Semotan said. “By joining the unified Acrisure brand, we have expanded our strength to better serve our customers, and I am very grateful to Greg and the team for trusting me to lead this region.”

Acrisure’s goal is to offer customers in these states a full range of services, including insurance, cybersecurity, mortgage lending, payroll services and more, leveraging both human expertise and technological innovation.

The launch of the Midwest region also marks the 11th and final U.S. region to be included in this model.

Greg Williams, co-founder, chairman and CEO of Acrisure, emphasized the strategic importance of the Midwest region in its growth plans.

“From trucking and transportation customers to high-growth, high-demand industries such as agriculture, manufacturing and emerging technology, this is a customer base that deserves the most comprehensive solutions,” Williams said. “In addition, the region will be led by a dynamic leader in Tina who truly understands our technology-based mission and the people and companies we are passionate about serving.”

Williams also reflected on the brand integration journey and acknowledged the efforts of Acrisure colleagues to embrace change and strive for excellence in customer service.

“Going forward, we will continue to set ambitious goals for customer service and innovation, especially as Acrisure becomes a trusted brand globally,” said Williams.

In a recent interview with Insurance Business, Acrisure EVP Mike Shea also discussed the company’s partnership with Florida-based Lassiter Ware, which has been extremely beneficial for both companies.
