Corvus Insurance Launches Expanded Policy Renewal Process | Insurance business America
It includes a streamlined one-click option
Corvus Insurance has unveiled an updated policy renewal process aimed at improving efficiency and convenience for brokers.
This improved process includes an application-free, click-and-bind renewal option for certain accounts, the company said in a press release, eliminating the need to answer repetitive application questions.
“We are excited to improve the agent experience by streamlining a renewal process that can traditionally be slow and tedious,” said Mike Karbassi, Chief Underwriting Officer of Corvus. “This is another example of how we offer innovative solutions that allow brokers to focus on serving their clients and growing their business.”
According to Corvus’ announcement, brokers whose accounts qualify for the no-application renewal process will be notified 90 days prior to the effective date of the renewal. You’ll also receive an offer 45 days before renewal with the option to commit immediately with a single click.
Founded in 2017, Corvus Insurance is a Managing General Underwriter (MGU) operating in the US, UK and Germany. It describes itself as “powered by a proprietary AI-driven cyber risk platform” and offers specialized products such as Smart Cyber Insurance and Smart Tech E+O.
“We have built a strong strategic partnership with the talented team at Corvus over the past year and are pleased to officially welcome them to the Travelers family,” Travelers Chairman and CEO Alan Schnitzer said in a statement about the acquisition.
“With a proven platform and deep cyber underwriting and risk management expertise, Corvus provides travelers with critical cyber capabilities.”
