PCF Insurance Services has announced the acquisition of MK Insurance Group’s insurance operations to mark its physical entry into Alabama.
The deal integrates a long-standing, third-generation family-run agency that specializes in both commercial and personal insurance and has a history spanning nearly six decades.
MK Insurance Group, known for its focus on high-net-worth individuals and providing solutions across the construction and commercial real estate sectors, as well as its niche expertise in the signage industry, marks PCF Insurance’s first physical presence in Alabama.
The collaboration aims to enhance MK Insurance Group’s offering in several key areas, including technology, with PCF Insurance’s commitment to early adoption of MK Insurance Group’s advances and operational infrastructure expected to provide enhanced business transaction capabilities.
The integration will also allow MK Insurance Group to benefit from PCF Insurance’s in-house risk management team and commercial claims advocacy team, who specialize in developing tailored loss control programs to mitigate risk and potentially reduce premiums.
Brooke DeWyze, Chief Development Officer at PCF Insurance, expressed excitement about the acquisition and emphasized the strategic alignment between the two companies.
“PCF is focused on intentional, strategic growth with companies like MK that complement our broad strengths, expand our expertise in industry verticals and have a solid track record that will strengthen our leadership position in the industry,” DeWyze said.
MK Insurance Group Director Greg Mikos also commented on the agency’s commitment to community service through world-class insurance and risk management solutions since its founding in 1967.
“We are committed to leveraging the PCF team’s extensive experience to accelerate our business growth and provide our customers with better insurance solutions, more competitive pricing and better market access,” said Mikos.
