Proceeds from the Gateway Re 2024-1 bond offering will be used to provide reinsurance protection against named storms for both SURE and another affiliated counterpart exchange, Elevate. Coverage extends to multiple states, including Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas, with the flexibility to extend the Class AA tranche to New York and/or Virginia over multiple years.
