Amwins Underwriting has announced a collaboration with Lancer Insurance Company, the commercial vehicle division of Core Specialty.
The new transportation relationship will enhance two key trucking programs offered by Amwins Transportation Underwriters (ATU), Amwins said. The deal is written on StarStone National Insurance Company paper.
The two programs are ATU’s Advantage Program and ATU’s Exclusive Environmental Transportation Offer. Advantage is an exclusive program sold through select retail brokers that focuses on motor carriers of up to 25 units and provides insurance coverage specifically tailored to the trucking sector. ATU’s environmental transportation offering covers transportation customers who handle hazardous materials and environmentally friendly bulk cargo, Amwins said in a news release.
Lancer has been providing specialty insurance products to businesses and commercial carriers across the country for more than 35 years. The company offers a range of insurance products for personal transportation vehicles, small fleet and owner/operator long-haul trucks, rental vehicles, small to medium commercial auto and repair businesses and more.
