The Graham Company, under the Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), has announced significant leadership changes within its executive team.

Effective immediately, Carl Bloomfield (pictured above, left) will assume the roles of President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), while Tom Morrin (pictured above, right) will assume the role of Chief Growth Officer (CGO).

In his new dual role, Bloomfield will lead the company’s business insurance, employee benefits brokerage and risk advisory activities. His responsibilities include developing innovative customer-focused solutions, acquiring new businesses and nurturing talent within the organization.

He has been with Graham since 2006 and most recently held the title of Managing Director in Enterprise Risk and Advisory Services. He takes over this new role from Ken Ewell.

Ewell, meanwhile, will continue his association with The Graham Company as vice chairman, devoting his efforts to initiatives aimed at enhancing the company’s services and expertise to clients.

Meanwhile, as newly appointed CGO, Morrin will focus on leveraging Graham’s extensive industry knowledge and expertise to deliver value to customers.

He brings over two decades of experience to his new role and has been instrumental in the broker’s business development, particularly in large and complex accounts.

Morrin’s CGO predecessor Mike Mitchell will also take on the role of deputy chairman and focus on managing customer relationships.

Building on the legacy of its predecessors

Both Bloomfield and Morrin are based in Philadelphia. Bloomfield will report directly to MMA East Region CEO Andrew Neary, while Morrin will report to Bloomfield.

“As Graham begins this exciting chapter as part of the MMA family, I am delighted that Carl and Tom are taking on their new roles. Building on the legacy of Ken and Mike, their leadership will bring to life a new vision of customer service while paving the way for new initiatives to further strengthen our offerings,” said Neary.

Ewell also expressed optimism about future leadership, highlighting the duo’s strategic vision and commitment to superior customer service as key factors in continuing the Graham Company’s legacy.

“I am incredibly excited about the future of The Graham Company and the opportunities that joining the Marsh McLennan Agency will bring to our clients and colleagues. This partnership allows us to leverage our remarkable pool of talent and resources across industries, further enhancing our service and expertise,” said Bloomfield.

“Our partnership with MMA embodies our proactive stance in anticipating and managing new risks for our clients, ensuring they stay ahead in an ever-evolving landscape,” Morrin added. “This collaboration combines our enduring principles with access to new skills, tools and technologies, all aimed at protecting the livelihoods and future of our customers’ businesses and their employees.”
