Inszone Insurance Services has expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of Kipper Insurance Agency of California (KIAC), an established independent insurance agency founded in 1987 by Robert Kipper.

The creation of KIAC was influenced by Kipper’s family history in the insurance sector and his personal experiences, including his service in the Vietnam War. With the support of his wife, who brought her medical background to the company, KIAC gained a strong reputation in the San Diego insurance market.

Kipper Insurance customers can count on a seamless transition while maintaining the personal service and attention to detail they have come to expect. The integration of KIAC into the Inszone Insurance network means a convergence of common goals to offer world-class insurance solutions and foster lasting customer relationships.

Chris Walters, CEO of Inszone Insurance Services, commented on the acquisition and its role in expanding the brokerage’s expertise in the West.

“We are pleased to welcome Kipper Insurance Agency of California to the Inszone family. Robert and his team’s commitment to excellent service and their deep-rooted values reflect our mission. “This acquisition not only strengthens our presence in the dynamic California market, but also opens new avenues for shared success,” said Walters.

As he reflected on the integration process, Kipper also noted the professionalism Inszone brought to the transition.

“Any commitment [Inszone] made, they fulfilled. The professionalism and knowledge they brought made the entire transition extremely smooth. I had the pleasure of interacting with an incredible team and everyone I worked with was truly outstanding. I am grateful for the seamless transition and am excited about the future,” said Kipper.

Inszone said the company remains on a steady growth path and several significant transactions are expected to close and be announced soon. Earlier this week, the brokerage firm also announced the acquisition of specialist brokerage firm Van Oppen & Co 2 (VOCO2).
