Odessa, Texas-based Hignojos Insurance Agency has been acquired by USI Insurance Services for an undisclosed amount.
“We are pleased to expand our presence and expertise in Texas by welcoming Hignojos Insurance Agency’s entire team of professionals to the USI family,” said John Collado, USI regional principal, when the acquisition was announced.
“By working together, we look forward to leveraging the USI ONE Advantage® to provide customers with access to our proprietary and innovative solutions and our network of local and national resources and expertise.”
Hignojos Insurance Agency is a broker specializing in commercial and personal risk insurance programs and has been operating since 2009.

USI, whose range of services also includes advice on employee benefits and retirement plans, was founded in 1994 and connects more than 10,000 colleagues in over 200 branches. The company’s recent acquisitions include Cavanah Associates in Hawaii.
