Lockton said his appointment marks the start of a series of strategic hires aimed at strengthening the business. Based in London, Ross will assume responsibility for developing and expanding Lockton’s North American construction casualty services for its clients.
According to LinkedIn, Ross brings a wealth of experience to Lockton, having previously served as casualty underwriting director at Arch Re Europe. He began his career in insurance as a U.S. liability broker at Price Forbes.
This new venture into the North American construction casualty market is part of Lockton Companies LLP’s efforts to continue the rapid expansion of its global real estate and construction businesses. The department now has over 200 partners and employees.
Richard Owen, partner at Lockton Companies LLP and head of global real estate and construction, emphasized the strategic importance of expanding into North American construction casualty services.
“Oliver is the ideal candidate to lead our new offering and our customers will benefit from his extensive experience,” said Owen. “We look forward to further expanding the team and its capabilities in the coming months.”
