World Insurance Associates Continues Expansion with Arizona Deal | Insurance business America
The transaction follows another major move in the Atlantic Highlands

Hot off the heels of a major deal in the Atlantic Highlands, World Insurance Associates is now setting its sights on Arizona, expanding its portfolio with the acquisition of Lake Havasu City-based InterWeb Insurance.
Founded in 2008, InterWeb specializes in commercial insurance with a particular focus on errors and omissions (E&O) insurance tailored to clients in the financial services industry.
Jack Pontolillo, CEO of InterWeb Insurance, expressed satisfaction with the acquisition, citing a common goal with the large brokerage firm.
“InterWeb Insurance provides our customers with access to insurance coverage and risk management with integrity and excellence. Our customer-focused approach provides the highest level of personalized service from every member of the InterWeb Insurance team. We are pleased to join World, an organization that shares our approach,” said Pontolillo.
Sheri Pontolillo, president of InterWeb Insurance, also commented on the alignment of values between the two companies.
“Our goal at InterWeb Insurance is to make buying insurance as easy as possible for our customers. We were looking for an organization that shared our ethics and focus on service and would allow us to offer more products and services to meet our customers’ needs. As part of World, we will continue to exceed our customers’ expectations and help them grow with confidence,” she said.
Finally, Rich Eknoian, CEO and co-founder of World, welcomed the new addition to the World family.
“They have decades of experience in the insurance industry and are known for offering innovative, specific solutions to their customers. They will be a great addition to World,” said Eknoian.
This latest deal follows World Insurance Associates’ acquisition of JBL Trinity, which was announced just days earlier. Founded in 1997, JBL is known for its range of car, home and business insurance.
